Joining the Mungrisdale Writers Group
 

There are two types of membership

Full membership is open to all. While residence in the Mungrisdale area is not essential, it is hoped that as many members as possible will be able to attend our fortnightly meetings under the guidance of our tutor, Angela Locke.   The subscription is £5 per annum which entitles you to an entry on the website including a brief biography and an opportunity to showcase your work.   The cost of attending the fortnightly meetings which last from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm is currently £7 per meeting.   Many members stay on for lunch at the Mill Inn.

Virtual membership is open to those unable to get to the tutored sessions.   As a virtual member you have the same entitlements as full members.   You can access details of work assignments (homework) on the NEWS page of the website and submit work by e-mail.   The cost of virtual membership is £10 per annum.   In addition, virtual members can ask for advice or feedback on their work at a cost agreed with the tutor which will depend on the complexity and length of the work.

In order to apply for either membership, please complete the following form. Receipt of your application will be acknowledged by email or telephone.

We require a minimum of a Username, Password and Telephone Number. Your Username might be your full name (e.g. Joan Smith or John Davies) and your Password should be suitable word or letter and number combination known only to you.
