Earth Speaks

From the beginning the sense of landscape has been important to the group. Our first book Voices of the Mountain echoes the writing on sense of place which was produced in the first years. A sense of connection which we all have with the planet grew from this work and Earth Speaks is some of the collective wisdom about the earth which has been evoked through poetry and prose. It is a voice which deserves attention. It has been developed by those who have observed the seasons and the pattern of human activity on the planet from a largely rural perspective. It demonstrates an awareness of the wider issues of ecology. It points the way to a healing process which all would do well to consider.
